More About Us

If you've clicked on this, then I guess you'd like to know a bit about me, my objectives with my business, and some other, perhaps less known facts...

I began in film around 22 years ago, and, at that time worked predominately on 'Wedding and Special Occasion' videos. I also worked as a freelance cameraman for several production companies, and was an apprentice to a feature film lighting cameraman, under whose guidance I will always be grateful for the knowledge gained about 'proper' lighting for video!

The Wedding market gave way to the commercial side, and I produced a series of films on how to shoot and edit programmes, which were best sellers in the early 90's.

I moved to 'non linear editing' 15 years ago, having one of the first 'Media 100' edit suites ,and so began an exciting new chapter in tv and film production. Currently I edit on Final Cut Pro, which, in my opinion, is one of the most creative and powerful assets I have ever owned!

I've always considered my self lucky with the film projects and people I've worked with. I enjoy meeting new clients and helping them turn ideas into reality on the screen. Work has taken me all around the world. I've hung out of helicopters, filmed from the top of Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth! (see photo), travelled with the British Army, waited and waited for a fish to be landed on the banks of the River Spey in Scotland, filmed a bridge being repaired in Washington DC, and, perhaps sadly, have an intimate working knowledge of tile manufacturing in Germany, Spain, Italy and Holland!

So that's a fairly diverse introduction to me. Please take the time to have a look through my site and hopefully get in touch. I'll be happy to help!
